Yoga sessions for energising your empowered self's image

Like so many others, I have spent most of my life running and bouncing from one thing to the next, searching for peace, happiness and what would make me feel whole. I used to spend most of my time idling in high gear, pushing myself- both physically and mentally, to achieve some unattainable perfect version of who I thought I should be. I struggled with anxiety, constantly ruminating over the past or worrying about things that hadn’t yet happened. I had severe physical shoulder and back pain, and headaches that no medical professional could diagnose. I struggled sleeping through the night. I felt low, not good enough, self-conscious and lived in the never ending narrative looping through my head.

I have been practicing yoga on and off since I was a teenager, but always for the physical, more Westernised benefits it could provide. Then in 2020 during Covid, I had an accident that led me to make some big personal life changes. I started deepening my connection to yoga and everything started to shift. Answers started presenting themselves. Things seemed a bit clearer and I started to be able to reframe the way I viewed my life and purpose. I was able to breathe. I found what I had always been looking for. My self.

The practice of yoga has provided me with the roadmap and tools to heal myself. The transformation that followed changed my life and my life's purpose is now sharing this gift with others. I am a fully qualified yoga teacher and I’m currently doing a 2 year diploma in Yoga Therapy.
